It’s hard to believe The Captains Table is deep in the Everglades. Still, this is one of the few places where alligators and manatees can be seen from the deck of a resort’s, heated swimming pool. It’s a short boat ride to deep-sea fishing in the Gulf of Mexico; even shorter into the Ten Thousand Islands.

All the amenities are here, in spite of the fact that this is really Florida’s last frontier.
