| Where the gently rolling terrain of West Volusia County begins, Clauser's Bed &
Breakfast sits in secluded country charm in historic Lake Helen. Surrounded by many
varieties of trees, the quiet aura sets Clauser's a world apart from today's fast pace. As
well it should, Clauser's is on the National Register of Historic Places. The home that is
now Clauser's Bed & Breakfast was built during the boom years in the mid 1800's and
served as lodging at the turn of the century. Clauser's Bed & Breakfast is on property
that was part of the oldest religious community in the Southeastern United States, Cassadaga. Tree shaded streets, friendly people, and splendid Victorian era homes create an ambiance of old Florida that surrounds the Clauser Inn. No traffic lights, but there is a horse arena adjacent to the City Offices creating a living tableau much as it was at the turn of the twentieth century. Most guests come first for the near-by attractions. Later they just come and stay and enjoy. There is a rule at Clauser's Bed And Breakfast, "No one leaves hungry from the breakfast or dinner table!"
